Big Creek - growing redwoods for the future.

We think Big Creek's forest lands are something special. Since 1946 we've been growing redwoods for future generations. Located in California's Santa Cruz Mountains, Big Creek is a small, family-owned lumber company which has been on the forefront of some of the most progressive and, at the same time, conservative forestry regulations in the world.

While we have always believed in the viability of our own forest management practices, we nevertheless sought independent third-party verification to substantiate these beliefs. After an extensive auditing process, Big Creek Lumberii Company became the first wood products company operating in a redwood forest to be awarded the "Well Managed Forest" Certification by the Forest Stewardship Council.
